unethical torture

Based off all the literature we have read during this semester, it’s only fair that we eventually stumble upon torture. Zero Dark Thirty embraces torture pretty openly and make it the forefront in the movie. However, the ethical bit that somewhat bothered me on a personal level is the notion of when is torture moral? It seems that when it comes to protecting the lives of others, such as in the military in Sand Queen, or in this case the CIA, the lines, more often than not, get blurred for the greater good. Which might have some serious implications on a persons’ psyche.
